People like you and I need to ask our representatives to create and pass legislation that makes it a crime to ignore the signs of abuse and neglect and carelessly let a child continue to suffer, as well as making it mandatory for educators and caregivers to attend programs that provide information on recognizing abuse and neglect and how to take action.
